The brother of Brett Favre said that the Vikings QB was battered in Sunday's loss to the Saints and that he does not think he's made a firm decision on whether to retire yet.
Scott Favre told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that it's just too soon in the process for his 40-year-old brother to make a sound decision:
"It's such a tough loss that if he made a decision right now it wouldn't be one with a clear mind I don't think. I think he needs to get away from it. As beat up as he was emotionally, physically, he couldn't make the right decision or a clear decision right then."

The games were Jan. 16, 1994, when the current Vikings quarterback completed 28 of 45 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns for a 80.9 passer rating in a 27-17 defeat. On Jan. 8, 1995, Favre completed 18 of 35 passes for 211 yards, no TDs, one interception and a 58.2 rating in a 35-9 loss. On Jan. 14, 1996, Favre completed 21 of 39 for three touchdowns and two interceptions and a 84.0 rating in a 38-27 loss.
