We're closer now than ever before to implementing a simple, fair tax solution that would easily fund necessary government programs while stimulating massive private sector growth in the economy. Best of all, NOBODY would be able to skirt the tax (not illegal aliens, not criminals, not ANYONE who currently and illegally avoids filing income tax returns or who uses the loopholes in the current system to avoid paying). This is because the FAirTax is a point of purchase sales tax that cannot be avoided unless you choose not to buy.
It's a tax that only applies to NEW purchases (so as to avoid taxing the same item multiple times), and it is a sales tax that applies mainly to WANTED items rather than NEEDED items such as food and necessities. So, if you want to build wealth and pay less tax, just purchase less stuff.
This is an idea whose time has come and I encourage everyone to consider supporting this effort - or at least learning more about it.
